~ About The Lime Project: How We Became LimeSuckers ~

We don't know who makes these decisions, but the support ribbon color for Hodgkin's Lymphoma is lime green. Conveniently, this is one of Heather's favorite colors."LimeSuckers" came about because well... pretty much everyone was suckered into it.

Most of us met on LiveJournal, a blogging / networking website, and this idea was hatched there, sprouting from the mind of Bronxelf (also known as Avril), for the group of us to produce and sell calendars to benefit Heather.

Not just any calendars..."naked" calendars. Tastefully done, of course, but still. Cheesecake sells.

Many of us are friends of Heather, while others have never met her on or off-line, but when Avril asked "Who wants to get naked to help Heather lick cancer?"...we all said yes. And so here we are.

In addition to our lovely and talented calendar models, this project has attracted the extensive talents of many wonderful people who comprise our "behind the scenes" support staff and made this calendar possible. Please check them out too, in addition to our calendar model beauties. Some of the models did double duty and deserve extra kudos.

We hope we can sucker you in too, and all of us together can help Heather not only get well, but get well without the panic of impending financial collapse. All costs involved in producing this calendar are being donated. 100% of all monies collected go directly to Heather, into her account.
