~The Lime Project: Help Heather Kick Cancer's Ass ~
Hi folks.
It's come to my attention that someone made a (well-meaning) error whilst attempting to nominate me for the Designer of the Future 2008 competition being advertised by Dezeen.
While it is entirely true that I am the director of the Lime Project, and I'm very proud of all we've done to help raise money to help our friend Heather, this site has precious little to do with my actual design work. I did *NOT* design the calendar itself (point one:, I'm not a graphic designer, and this isn't a graphic design competition). That was done by the very talented and wonderful Val Trullinger. I also didn't design the Lime Project website ( point two: I'm not a web designer, and this isn't a web design competition.) That was done by Mara Alexander at Hello World Web Design.
Though I appreciate the sentiment that caused the link to be posted, I wanted to clear up any confusion about this. There's plenty of my *actual* design work on the web for anyone who wants to see it, and I have every confidence that the folks running the competition itself have received plenty of links in email to guide them there.
I hope this clears up any confusion. Thanks.
